SPS SHRM 2021 Foundation Fundraiser

Support the SHRM Foundation, and Give Back to the HR community!

South Puget Sound SHRM is committed to supporting the SHRM Foundation and the larger HR community.  That's why this year we will match donations raised through the auction, dollar for dollar, up to $1,500 total!  That's twice the impact, and double the support for the great work of the SHRM Foundation.

The SHRM Foundation's mission is to mobilize the power of HR and activate the generosity of donors to lead positive social change impacting all things work. The Foundation is committed to elevating and empowering HR as a social force through its innovative solutions to workplace inclusion challenges, programming designed to inspire and empower the next generation of HR leaders, and awarding scholarships and professional development grants to educate and develop students and HR professionals.  Some examples of the SHRM Foundation's impact are:

• Providing over $500,000 in certification, academic, and professional development scholarships and grants to HR professionals and students;
• Partnering in the Together Forward at Work program to bring racial equity to the workplace;
• Spearheading the Veterans at Work program to empower HR professionals to attract, hire, and retain veterans; and,
• Helping employers confidently hire individuals with a criminal background through the Getting Talent Back to Work program.
